Goods of social distinction are those goods which are those goods which are highly valued in the society.  

There is tremendous demand for such products but it cannot be supplied in sufficient quantity.  These objects are priceless and cannot be bought for money.  

Example - If you buy a precious diamond, it is very expensive. You cannot sell more even if the customers ask for more of the same product.
