"India was famous for the natural resources for which it was captured by the East India Company at the end of the 18th century.

A lot of superstition, prejudices and malpractices entangled the Indians, especially the Hindus at the beginning of the 19th century.

With the eradication of the British rule from India, Indians became self-dependent and started making progress in various fields, agriculture, industry and other sectors which eventually helped in the economic development. With the increased literacy rate, social prejudices were reduced and Indians started making progress in every field.
