Social media is a grand invention of mankind. With the advancement of technology, social media was invented to connect people from across the globe. It had been connecting people in various parts of the country. People can be sitting anywhere in the entire world and can talk to other people residing anywhere in the world. But, this feature gave birth to cybercrime. People can bully anyone sitting in their home and would not be punished and he can be anywhere in the whole world. Not everything we see and learn from social media is correct. People tend to fake their emotions, concerns and even pictures to look better than others. Not everyone is in their best position today and they get demotivated and depressed by seeing such glorified lifestyles of others and try to achieve it or keep faking it. Not only that, they spend money on things they would not have otherwise to make themselves feel a part of the crowd. With time, people tend to fake things so much that they have forgotten the value of little things and personal touch. Thus are getting disaffection in society. Everyone is trying to be better than someone, creating a distance between friends or family members. Not just adults, children are more affected by these things. They are getting manipulated with such fake things and are in favour of materialistic things rather than soft touch. If this continues for long, there would come a day when people will completely disaffect society and there will not be any real friends.
