Social rejection might not leave external scars but it can definitely damage you internally. I'm a fine example of someone damaged. Unkempt by nearly everyone I've met, I am very sure that I can't approach them anymore. I might be confident, often arrogant, but I can't stop myself being stoned while facing them. My blue roses have decayed; and I'm in no state of forming any other attachments.
