Explanation:

Social roles are a set of behaviors that are expected from an individual in society. Social roles regulate and organize individuals' behavior in a community. for example, a role of a woman is to become a mother when she has children, hence she is expected to play the role of a mother by loving and caring for her children. The children's behavior is regulated since they have a role in obeying and respecting their parents. Social roles also organize individuals behavior according to their status in a given environment, for example, a person who is a mother can be a bank manager at work; hence, at the office, she will perform her duties as the supervisor of her juniors.
