It started with King Ptolemy conquering Egypt and establishing ptolaemic Dynasty and ended with Roman Emperor Octavian (Augustus) defeating pharaoh Cleopatra(after her suicide) and his lover Mark Antony death.

The Greco-Roman rule in total lasted for about 300 years, i.e. 332BC to 30BC.

Interestingly, Octavian's Roman-control over Egypt lasted for approximately 600 years after Emperor Diocletian coming to power in 3rd century and annexing Egypt. But as being a Roman he also romanacized it. So it all ended with Arab conquest of egypt in 7th century by defeating Pharaoh Maximinus Daia (last Roman Emperor of egypt) under Rashidun-Caliphate.
