socialist believed that workers who do the work for rich landowners would not get any benefit as they were not getting any proper wages from them and rich landowners were becoming rich by taking their wages.

This was because capitalists owned the capital invested in factories which is being accumulated by the workers . Karl Marx felt that the workers' conditions could not be improved until the profit is in the hands of capitalists .So they decided that workers should contruct a socialistic society in which all properties are socially controlled .
