Social problems and evils are the very actions which slows down the rate of development in the following ways :

• Stealing and looting of items

• This leads to backwardness and lagging in the development of the the society.

•  Social problems such as sickness, poverty , social injustices , corruption , nepotism, tribalism are slowing down the process of development .

• Poor governance has also led to the lack of transparency and hence poor development in a country.
