Sodium and phosphours are both very reactive.Why is Sodium stored in Kerosene and Phosphours in water?

Sodium is stored under kerosene and Phosphorus under water because they both are highly reactive with oxygen and if they are left like this only then it will react with the oxygen present in the air.

Heya,

Sodium is stored in Kerosene because it reacts very easily with oxygen and water to provide heat. So to avoid that it is stored in Kerosene

While phosphorous is highly reactive substance which reacts very easily with air when kept out so it is stored in water.
