Sodium and potassium are placed on same group of modern periodic table if molecular formula is Na2 so4 then decide the molecular formula is pottasium sulphate and give reason your answer

Thus the valency of both sodium and potassium is the same, i.e., +1. - So, they will react to form similar sulphates. - Hence, we just replace Na with K in the formula of sodium sulphate to get K2SO4 as the formula of potassium sulphate.
