Sodium and potassium are stored under kerosene oil because they are highly reactive metals therefore to prevent it in coming in the contact of oxygen in moisture. Otherwise they will react with oxygen to form sodium hydroxide. ✌️✌️☺️☺️
Hope it's help you.
