Sodium have 1 valance atom... So it has a tendency to lose 1 electron and obtain neon like configuration... Therefore, it's ELECTRON AFFINITY should be negative becoz it has tendency to lose electron..... Then why it's elctron affinity is postitive??? Plzz explain
