because sodium hydroxide is a base and when any base is reacted with any metal then it evolved H2 gas . and because of this zinc liberates hydrogen gas .and no other metal can do this because they have not the property like that.

whoever you are, I want to tell u that bases don't react with metals to liberate hydrogen gas. Only some metals like NaOH react with zinc to liberate hydrogen gas. If u don't have the ability to answer my question then leave it.
