Sodium hydroxide should not be stored in aluminium containers, why

According to the reaction, NaOH reacts with Al to form Sodium Aluminate. It means that Sodium Hydroxide would react with the Al container which may corrode it. Hence,Sodium hydroxide should not be stored in aluminium containers.
