Sodium is an element that was discovered in 1807. Iron was probably discovered about 4000 years ago. Suggest a reason for this difference.

Explanation:

it is probably because we don't find Sodium in its pure state. it was so reactive that it probably reacted before we could isolate it, since its dangerous to keep Sodium even out in the air.

on the other hand, Iron is a less reactive element and can be found in its pure state, and was very very useful for the early men.
