Answer:

atomic radius of sodium is greater than lithim, which allows sodium to loose electron easily than lithium. electropositivity and mettalic character increases as we move along the group or top to bottom . this is the reason why sodium is more reactive than lithium .

Answer:

Sodium is a reactive metal because it has higher tendency to lose electron because it has only one electron at its outermost orbital and by losing that electron it can get stable electronic configuration. That's why it is a reactive metal and can get react with any other element easily....

Lithium is smaller than Sodium, the valence electron on sodium is further away from the positive nucleus and therefore it has a weaker electrostatic attraction and is more easily lost in a chemical reaction, making it more reactive...

hope it helps you..
