Sodium (Na) is mostly stored in an oil (kerosene).

Reason- Sodium is a very reactive metal. We store sodium in kerosene oil so that it does not come in contact with an oxygen and moisture, otherwise a lot of heat is generated and it starts burning.

Sodium also reacts violently with water too as it is highly reactive chemical element.
