0.5 mole of Na is needed.

Explanation:

one mole of hydrogen gas=22.4 L

so, 5.6L of hydrogen gas= 1/4 Mole of hydrogen gas

now as per given balanced equation;

to produce ones mole of hydrogen gas we need two mole of Na atoms.

hence, to produce 1/4 Mole of hydrogen gas, we need 1/2 mole of Na atoms!!
