At reactivity series, Sodium is more reactive than iron.
Usually iron does not take part in vigorous reaction so sodium reacts in cold water whereas iron wont.

Dude sodium is a highly reactive element it will react with cold water and hot water all forms of water,air
and that is why it is stored in kirocen...
and that is why it is stored in kirocen...
