we know that,

  • Area of square = (side)² .

since it has been given that, Sofea baked seven cakes in the shape of square with side as 16.5 cm each .

so,

→ Area of each cakes = (Length)² = (16.5)² = 16.5 * 16.5 = 272.25 cm².

now, shape of each cake is same.

then,

.→ Area of 1 cake = 272.25 cm².

→ Area of 7 cakes = 272.25 * 7 = 1905.75 cm². (Ans.)

Hence, the total area of the cakes is 1905.75 cm² .
