therefore ,

soha's mother age =12+2x

ATQ,

After 8 years, she will be 20 years less than

three times Soha's age

i.e. 8+12+2x= 3(8+x)

20+2x=24+3x

20-24=3x-2x

-4=x

so,

soha's age = 4 years

soha's mother age = 12 +2 ×4

=20 years
