Answer:

(i) Given,

Velocity = 90km/hr

Time = 1 min or 1/60 hr

Then ,

Distance= V×T

90×1/60

Distance= 2/3km

(ii) On the base of first do the second one yourself

Concept:

Distance is the total path traveled by an object regardless of direction.

The directional speed of an item in motion, as measured by a specific unit of time and observed from a certain point of reference, is what is referred to as velocity.

Given:

The velocity of the car is 90km/h.

Find:

The distance covered by the car in (i) one minute and (ii) one second.

Solution:

The speed of Soham's car is, v=90km/h.

Now, the formula for distance is:

Distance = Speed x Time

So, the distance covered by the car in one minute :

t=1min=\frac{1}{60}hr

So,

Distance =90\times\frac{1}{60} =\frac{2}{3}km

The distance covered by the car in One second,

t=1sec=\frac{1}{3600} hr

Distance ==90\times\frac{1}{3600} =0.025km

The distance covered by Soham's car in one minute and one second is \frac{2}{3}km and 0.025km respectively.
