SI = PRT/100
=2500×5×4/100
=400₹
for the next step
P=2500+400=2900
R=6%p.a.
T=4years
SI=2900×6×4/100
=696₹

Sohan borrowed = ₹2500
r = 5%
t = 4 years
SI to be paid = PTR/100 = 2500×4×5/100 = ₹500

Sohan lent = ₹2500
r = 6%
t = 4 yr
SI collected = 2500×6×4/100 = ₹600

Profit at the end = ₹600 - ₹500 = ₹100

he got ₹100 profit

samk1: find the simple interest of 3600 for 4 years at 8 % per annum
usp488: si=prt/100. =3600×8×4/100. = 1152₹
