sohan can alone complete the work in 10 days
Let the work done by deepak in one day be be 1/x
Togethethe they can complete the work in 6 days
Work done by them together in one day
= 1/10 + 1/x = 1/6
Take L.C.M = 10x
Now,
x + 10/10x = 1/6
on cross multiplying we get.
6(x +10) = 10x
6x + 60 = 10x
10x - 6x = 60
4x = 60
x = 60÷4
x = 15
So, Deepak will take 15 days to finish the work alone.
