v²-u²=-2gs
0-(10)²=-2×9.8s
-100=-19.6s
100=19.6s
s=100/19.6=5.102m

Answer:

max. height = 5metres & time taken = 1 second

Explanation:

u=10m/s

v=0

g=-10m/s

----------------------

v^2-u^2=2gs

v^2=2gs+u^2

0=-20+100s

20=100s

20/s=100

s=100/20=5m

------------------------

v=u+gt

v-u=gt

0-10=-10t

10=10t

t=10/10=1sec
