Sohan is trying to replace 10 cm wire of a heating appliance by 5 cm of another wire of the same material.Will the appliance give the same amount of heat as earlier. If not, what could be the reason?​

or else since the current flowing is same,they must be connected in series

heat produced in them will not be the same as the wire which parul has,has greater resistance due to greater length and will produce more heat

heat produced in them will still not be same if they are of equal length and different thickness,the one having more thickness will have lesser resistance nad hence heat produced in it will be less

all of the above is explained as:-

R is directly proportional to length and inversely proportional to thickness
