Soil can be Acidic, Alkaline or……?

Some soil are acidic

some are alkaline

It is based on climatic conditions, environment condition,acid rain etc

● Depends on the pH value the soil can be in different form.

  1. If pH value of soil is between 6.5 to 7.5 then it is considered as Neutral.
  2. If pH value of soil is over 7.5 then it is considered as Alkaline.
  3. If pH value of soil is less than 6.5 then it is considered as Acidic.
  4. If pH value of soil is less than 5.5 then strongly acidic.

So,

  • Soil can be Acidic, Alkaline or Neutral .
