2. It is also home to many microorganisms like earthworms. These organisms help to enrich soil with many valuable nutrients.

3. Soil maintains the fertility of land. It also contains humus . It has an immense value in agriculture production .

1. Soil is of immense value to the farmers as it the only medium where the farmers can grow crops and plants. Soil contains many important nutrients, minerals and other important substances which are required by plants and crops for their proper growth.

2. Soil also provides air so that there can be exchange of gases between the roots and the atmosphere outside.

3. Soil also protects the crops and plants from erosion as erosion damages crops and vanishes all the plants.

•Also, soil contains important insects like earthworm which is considered as friend of farmers. This helps in improving soil's quality, increases nutrient and moisture content in the soil which proves beneficial for the farmers to grow crops and plants.
