  • When the soil is too acid it is treated with  quicklime (calcium oxide) or slaked lime(calcium hydroxide) or chalk ( calcium carbonate) These are basic components. To make it neutralis .
  • When the soil is too basic we should add organic minerals in it like manure to neutralize it.  These manure produce acids and neutralise the soil.
