Soil play a significant role in agriculture. As we know soil is very very precious because it take thousands of years to form thin layer of soil.

for growing the crops some things are very very important that is temperature ,rainfall , and soil.

Different crops need different type of soil. For example cotton grow well in black soil. Rice grow well in alluvial soil wheat in loamy soil maige in poor quality of soil. Tea and coffee in alluvial soil. one more thing which is very important the soil in which there is humus is very very fertile. dead and decay part of plant and animals form humus. In this way we can say that soil play an important role for the growth of the plant.
