Hello friend,

¶ Solar constant -

It's the power of solar electromagnetic radiation per units area.

Ks = σAT^4 / πd^2

Ks ∝ 1/d^2

◆ Answer-

Km = 588.64 W/m^2

◆ Explanation-

# Given-

de = 1 AU

dm = 1.52 AU

Ke = 1.36×10^3 W/m^2

# Solution-

From the formula we can write,

Ke/Km = (dm/de)

Km = Ke (de/dm)^2

Km = 1.36×10^3 × (1/1.52)^2

Km = 588.64 W/m^2

Therefore, solar constant of mars is 588.64 W/m^2.

Hope it helps...
