Answer:

the sun delivers tremendous amounts of energy to Earth every day most of which goes to the ocean which cover 75% of the Earth the sunlight heats up the water causing it to evaporate as the water that is now in the form of a gas Rises to the upper atmospheres and condensates as it is condensating it becomes dense and starts to precipitate on a mountain or anywhere on Earth for that matter supposing the water that is now precipitate lands I am Mountain which comes down as a form of Water by a river that flows down that River later reaches the ocean and it happens over and over again causing the water cycle to be powered by the sun energy.

Hope this helped :)
