Solar energy is available in plenty but animals cannot use it directly whereas plants can. why?

Animals can't because they only absorb sun for their nutrients of Vitamin D! Plants can do this because they are producers which means they use photosynthesis to turn sunlight into food!

plants can use ot directly bcz they need sunlight in photosynthesis.animals eat the plants it they nt get the solar energy directly by eating plants or any other things they get energy
