solar energy is a better fuel than fossil fuels because it is not affected by human use and is unlimited. no matter hoe much we use it, it will never end whereas other fuels like coal, petroleum etc. are severely affected by human use and once they are over either it will take thousands of years to renew or we will not be able to retrieve them back . this the reason why solar energy is better than fossil fuels and scientists are also trying to make everything up of solar energy

Soar energy is inexhaustible , can be reused again and again and they don't produce any kind of pollution. Also it helps to do many more activities. Whereas the fossil fuels are exhaustible can't be reused and produces pollution.
In these ways the solar energy is better than the fossil fuels.
