sole by using quadratic formula
x2+1/x=3         x is not =0

root 3 square  +10x-  8root3=0

x2-x+1=0

x2-x-a[a+1}=0

plz friends help me i am asking help bcoz we have a  bad faculty in oys school am blak

raoatchut191: sure
Anonymous: I'd the first Q (x^2+1)/x=3 or the one which you have typed?
raoatchut191: here b means the coefficient of x ,a means coefficient of x^2 and c means constant.now find b^2-4ac ,find whether its values are less than zero or greater than zero or equal to zero
raoatchut191: is it ok
aaa345: sorry i cant understand am sorry 2 disturb u
Anonymous: Let me explain it to you
aaa345: ok
aaa345: if u dont mind can u 'answer
aaa345: clearly in that box

ax²+bx+c=0 is a quadratic equation for x≠0 Here, x=(-b±√{b²-4ac})/2a When you substitute the corresponding values you get the answers. 1.x²-3x+1=0 here, a=1 b=-3 c=1 putting these values in the above formula you get x=(3±√5)/2. 2.a=√3 b=10 c=-8√3 hence x=11/2 or -17/2 3.x=(1±√-3)/2
