Answer:

0.01 cm, If I am not wrong.

Step By Step Explanation:

Let h1 be the height of solid cylinder and r1 be its radius and r2 is the radius of wire(cylinder shaped) and h2 is its height or length.

Given that:

H = 1 cm R = 1 cm r = 0.1 cm

Here we have to equal the volumes as the same material is recasted into another shape.

So,

\pi \: {r1}^{2} h1 \:  =  \: \pi \:  {r2}^{2} \: h2

 \frac{22}{7}  \times 1 \times 1 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 0.1 \times 0.1 \times h1

 \frac{22}{7}  =  \frac{22}{7}  \times  \frac{1}{10}  \times \frac{1}{10}  \times h2

 \frac{22}{7}  =  \frac{11}{7 \times 5 \times 10}  \times h2

h2 =  \frac{11 \times 7}{22 \times 7 \times 5 \times 10}

h2 =   \frac{1}{2 \times 5 \times 10}  =  \frac{1}{100}  = 0.01 \: cm
