Solid wastes- They are wastes that are in solid or hard form which are no longer of use and are hence discarded.
Eg-  agricultural waste, demolition waste, industrial waste, mining residues, municipal garbage, etc.

Liquid wastes- They are wastes that are in molten or watery form which are no longer of use and are hence discarded.
Eg-  wastewater, fats, oils or grease, etc.

Gaseous wastes- They are wastes that are in fluid or gas form which are the result of human activity.
Eg-  CFCs, Co2, etc.

Solid wastes are any discarded or abandoned materials. Solid wastes can be solid, liquid, semi-solid or containerized gaseous material.
Liquid waste can be defined as such fluids as wastewater, fats, oils or grease (FOG), used oil, and hazardous household liquids, to name a few. The Territory’s landfills and transfer station do not accept liquid waste of any type.

Gaseous waste is a waste product in gas form resulting from various human activities, such as manufacturing, processing, material consumption or biological processes.
