A waste is a material which has lost its value of use and cannot be used further and it can be define as the degraded form of the used material.

Explanation:

The waste disposal system in my locality is as follows:

1. Separation of the wet and dry waste:- In my locality there are separate bins for wet and dry wastes disposal if these wastes were mixed they can spoil those wastes which can be recycled.

2.Composting:- The biodegradable waste like vegetable waste, agriculture roughage after harvesting are put into a pit and buried under the soil for composting.

3. Recycling:- From the dry wastes many articles like wooden articles, cardboard boxes, papers and plastic have been used and recycled in to useable forms.

4.Landfill:- A landfill is also created at the outskirts of the locality where the biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste can be added and covered with a lid so that no air pollution can occur.
