Solids have high melting and boiling points than liquids .Why?

because attraction power is more in solids than liquids

Because, in solids, the intermolecular space is lesser than in liquids and the intermolecular force is more. Thus, it becomes difficult to separate the molecules. So, solids have high melting point then liquids.
