Answer:

(2)

Explanation:

The answer is based on polarisablity of anion.

Bigger the anion more will be polarisablity i.e. their electron cloud is distorted more. So instead of complete ionic bond there will sharing of electron between cation and anion that is a kind of covalent bond. All these species have same cation.

For solubility the species should be more polar. CsF is the clear winner and the solubility decreases down the halogen family.

Answer: 2

Explanation:

Because the common ion is Caesium (Cs) so that hydration energy dominant. As we know ,smaller the size hydration energy will increase... and also know that H.E is directly proportional to the solubility. If HE increases solubility also get increases.

NOW...

Ionic size order will be F < cl < Br < I. Fluorine is smallest one so its H.E is greater and solubility will be higher.

So solubility order CsF > Cscl > CsBr> CsI.

Hope its help to make you understand : )
