Answer : The solubility will be, 2.349\times 10^{-3}mole/dm^3

Solution :

First we have to calculate the solubility of nitrogen.

At 760 mm pressure the solubility of nitrogen = 2.5\times 10^{-3}g/dm^3

At 10000 mm pressure the solubility of nitrogen = \frac{10000mm}{760mm}\times (2.5\times 10^{-3}g/dm^3)

At 10000 mm pressure the solubility of nitrogen = 32.89\times 10^{-3}g/dm^3

Now we have to calculate the solubility of nitrogen in mole/dm^3

The solubility of nitrogen = \frac{2.349\times 10^{-3}g/dm^3}{14g/mole}=2.349\times 10^{-3}g/dm^3

Therefore, the solubility will be, 2.349\times 10^{-3}mole/dm^3
