Given:
The solubility of sodium nitrate at 313k is 60g.
This means that 60g of sodium nitrate is needed to make a saturated solution of sodium nitrate in 100g of water at 313k.
so, to make a saturated solution in 50g of water at 313k we will require half of 60gm .
=60/2= 30g of sodium nitrate .

Explanation:

solubility of sodium nitrate in 100g of water=60g

In 50g of water=60÷2

=30g of sodium nitrate
