 \bold{x =  \frac{ - b  \underline +  \sqrt{ {b}^{2} }  - 4ac}{2a}}

 \bold{4x { }^{2} + 5x + 1 = 0}

a=4

b=5

c=1

 \bold{x =  \frac{ - 5\underline +  \sqrt{ {5}^{2} }  - 4 \times 4 \times 1}{2 \times 4}}

 \bold{x =  \frac{ - 5 \underline + 3}{8} }

 \bold{x =  \frac{ - 5  + 3}{8} }

 \bold{x =  \frac{ - 5   - 3}{8} }

 \large \bold{x =  \frac{ - 1}{4} } \\  \bold{x = 1}
