Ans . 4x-5y=20 ( L.H.S to R.H.S )

= 20-5=15 now dividing 4 by both sides we get =15/4

SOLUTION :-

We have 4x-5y =-20

5y=(4x-20)

y=(4x-20)/5......(1)

•Putting x=0 in (1),we get;y=4

•Putting x=2 in (1),we get;y=-2.4

•Putting x=5 in (1),we get;y=0

Thus we have the following table

x | 0 | 2 | 5 |

y | -4 |-2.4| 0 |

Now we have 3x +5y=15

5y=(15-3x)

y=(15-3x)/5........(2)

•Putting x÷-5 in (2) ,we get;y=6

•Putting x=0 in (2) ,we get;y=3

•Putting x=5 in (2) ,we get:y=0

Thus we have the following table

x | -5 | 0 | 5 |

y | 6 | 3 | 0 |

Now plotting points on graph as shown in above figure

We get intersection point at C(5,0)

Thus ,x=5 and y=0 is the required solution
