y is minimum when sinx+√3cosx is maxm

And for sinx+√3cosx to be maxm

d(sinx+√3cosx)/dx=0

Cosx-√3sinx= 0

tanx= 1/√3

x= 30°

So minimum value of y

= 10/(1/2+√3•√3/2)

= 10/(2)= 5
