hey here's the answer to your question....

“A solution is a special type of homogeneous mixture. This type of mixture is very stable i.e it's particles do not settle,or separate. As a homogeneous mixture, a solution has one phase (liquid) although the solute and solvent can vary:for example, salt water .”

Solution is a Homogeneous Mixture because :

  • A homogeneous mixture has uniform composition throughout its mass.
  • It has no visible boundaries of separation  between its various components.
  • It is stable
  • Components of solution cannot be separated by physical methods like Filtration
  • Solute particles size is very very small [<1 nm] . hence cannot be seen in solution.
  • Solution does not exhibit Tyndall effect.
