Solution: given,

amount of water (solvent) = 200 gram

amount of glucose dissolved in water (solute) = 50 gram

mass of solution = 250 gram

Now we have to calculate the concentration of the solution.

The concentration of solution as mass percentage

 = \: \frac{mass \: of \: solute}{mass \: of \: solution} \times 100

  = \frac{50}{250} \times 100

= 20%

Therefore, the concentration of the solution is 20%.
