Let, the length of rectangle be x m and breadt be y m .
ATQ, 2(X + Y) = 40 ...(1)
Also, 5y - y = x ....(2)
putting the value of 2 in 1, we get...
2(5y-y +y ) = 40
10y = 40
y = 4
putting value of y in 2.
x= 5×4-4 = 16m
