Step-by-step explanation:

by LHS,

7(2x-5)=14x-35

-14x=-35

x=-35÷14

x=-2.5

so,7(2(-2.5)-5)

=-70

by RHS,

8(5x-2)+1=40x-16+1

-40x =-16+1

x =-15÷40

x=-0.375

so, 8(5(-0.375)-2)+1

=-30
