Answer:

8x + 3y = 5

3x - 2y = 5

multiplying upper equation by 2 and lower by 3 to make y variables contant

(8x + 3y = 5)*2

(3x - 2y = 5)*3

16x + 6y = 10

9x - 6y = 15

25x + 0 = 25

so, x = 25/25

x = 1

now put the value of x in equation 1

8x + 3y = 5

8*1 + 3y = 5

3y = 5 - 8

y = -3/3

y = -1

therefor x=1 and y=-1
